Ebele Kovalchick

Partner, Erie office

Ebele takes the cases where the insurer has already said no.

Ebele joined the firm to open the Erie office and now runs most of its denied-claim hearings. Before law school she worked as a hospital unit clerk, which is where she learned to read a medical chart faster than most doctors.

Clients say she's direct. She'll tell you at the first meeting what she thinks the insurer's weakest point is, and what yours is.

How Ebele prepares for a hearing

Ebele meets with each client twice before a hearing: once to go through the questions the judge may ask, and once the week before to go through them again. She wants you to walk in knowing exactly what the room looks like.
